We are pleased to inform you that, Andalusia (Spain) has officially joined the PEMEA network in production, going live on 16 December 2025.
Andalusia’s emergency number 112 is now connected to the PEMEA network, enabling it to receive emergency communications from PEMEA-compliant emergency applications and strengthening interoperable, secure digital access to emergency services.
As part of this milestone, Andalusia has also launched its own PEMEA emergency application, providing citizens with an additional channel to reach 112 via text-based messaging and file exchange.
This capability can be particularly valuable for people who cannot place a voice call, for users in noisy or unsafe environments, and for situations where sharing images or other files can help responders rapidly assess the incident.
With Andalusia’s production connection, the PEMEA network now includes operational deployments in:
País Vasco (Spain), Finland, Extremadura (Spain), Andalusia (Spain).
Further European deployments are progressing through implementation, including:
Slovenia, Romania, Greece.
By integrating PEMEA, you benefit from improved responsiveness, increased efficiency in emergency management, and compliance with European directives.
We invite you to join the PEMEA Consortium to take advantage of these benefits. To become a member or to obtain more information, please visit our webpage or send an email to our admin support at pra@pemea.help.
